"A dream come true."

After Graduating from BHS while working at Albertsons, I went to CSI in Burley for 2 years. After that I went to CSI in Twin Falls. I decided I needed to get away, and I decided the home scene in Burley was too much, so I decided to go to BSU in Boise in the year of 2003.

I went to BSU and worked 60+ hours a week at Albertsons, yes still at Albertsons after transferring. I actually worked at 2 stores simultaneouly just to pay the bills. I moved up the ranks slowly and I worked at 5 Albertsons there in a 3 year span. A few years later I met my beautiful wife, Arianna. Arianna was working as an Office Manager for a Chiropracter when I first met her in Boise.
We married in 2005, and in 2006 we had our first daughter, Madison. I slowly made my way up the ladder once again with Albertsons, and humbly took a job offer in Twin Falls as The Grocery Manager in 2007. Arianna took a job with St. Lukes in Twin Falls with the Hospital. We had our second daughter Makayla shortly after moving to Twin Falls in 2008. Arianna is a stay at home mom now taking care of my beautiful daughters.
In August 2009, we purchased our first house. I'm graterful to have a career that allows Arianna to stay at home with Madison and Makayla.
I enjoy being close to Burley where my family lives. I have my father and mother, 3 brothers, and 2 sisters whom I visit every month in Burley. Arianna is currently going to CSI for her generals, and I plan on continuing my education in either; Business to become an Albertsons Store Director, or my bachelors in elementry education.

I am very grateful for the life I have been dealt. Good things come to those who wait!

Right after school I moved to Boise, ID where I went to BSU for a little while. I met my boyfriend Jayson in Boise in 2002.

I found my passion in motorcycling and became an Idaho STAR Instructor for motorcycle safety. I have been doing that since 2004.

I have done some traveling and loved it.

On my time off I love to fly fish, and ride my motorcycle.

After graduating from BHS, I attended Arizona State University. I spent every moment enjoying the sunshine and meeting new people from across the country. I studied Business Management and graduated in December 2003. I quickly moved back to Burley to start my career with our family business. I feel lucky spending time with my whole family almost every day and learning from real life experiences which text books can't quite teach. I designed a new Mr. Gas concept convenience store in south Burley and a new car wash as well, which most people seem to enjoy. In 2008 my Brother and I purchased an ice manufacturing business in St. George, Utah, which consumes every spare minute during the summer. I also raced in NASCAR for many years and enjoyed the rush and great people associated with that sport. When I do get some down time, I travel wherever I can. I have visited many places: England, Ireland, Costa Rica, Jamaica, PV, and NYC to name a few. I am looking forward to catching up with everyone, see you soon!

After graduation from BHS, I went to Utah State for 1 year then transferred to Idaho State University in hopes of going to pharmacy school. Luckily I was accepted, passed my classes and graduated with a doctor of pharmacy in 2006. While at ISU, I met and married my wonderful husband, Josh.
We currently live in Twin Falls, so I occasionally get the privilege of running into Burleyites here and there. My husband is a civil engineer and I work as a pharmacist 2 days a week. I spend the rest of my time raising our 2 crazy beautiful little girls ages 3 and 1.

***Disclaimer!! This is not a typical representation of my family, but it looks pretty good for us anyway.***
This is a more typical representation of daily life at the Bairds.
I'm looking forward to seeing everyone and catching up!

Since I graduated From BHS
I have been around the world.
I left the October after graduation to the Philippines for my mission and loved almsot every minute of it. When I came home I had a hard time figuring out what to do and where to go and Burley didn't serve me very well at this point in my life so I decided to try my hand at door to door home security sales.....this didn't serve me very well either. So after a year of not doing much that was productive I finally started school at Idaho State University Whew crisis averted my life got back on track. I lived with Joe Rose and started pursuing a degree in Zoology. I knew I wanted to do something in the health professions but wasn't sure what so I thought zoology would be a good major.

During my first year I met and married my wife, Kristina Jensen, and decided that I would pursue a career in dentistry. During the next three years I finished my degree at ISU and had our first kid, Taylee who just turned 4 June 8th. Dental school took me to the east coast...Boston to be exact and I have been here for the last three years. We had another kid during dental school, Porter, who will be 2 in February.

I have one year left to finish my DMD degree, and we are hoping to move back to southern Idaho somewhere to start the next phase of our life. We love coming home to Burley to visit and look forward to seeing everyone at the reunion.

Okay, I'll try to make this as short, sweet, and unboring as possible. I did my first year of college at Ricks (BYU-I...will always be Ricks to me) where I was on the ballroom dance team. I actually hated everything there except for dance so I left for Salt Lake the next year. I finished my degree in Radiology in 2004 and married my husband, Jason Johnson, the same year in the Bountiful Temple.

We called Salt Lake our home for the first year and then headed to Boston, MA where Jason attended Boston University and received a Masters in Advertising. Boston was a huge adjustment for me. I worked at Boston Medical Center (BMC) doing Interventional Radiology. BMC is the city hospital so we took care of some interesting demographics to say the least. The hospital had translators for over 60 languages, although I would say most patients spoke Haitian Creole, Vietnamese, or Russian. We loved and still love New England. We became Red Sox fans and enjoyed our weekends traveling up and down the east coast.

In 2007 we moved to Charleston, SC where we bought our first home and had our two rambunctious boys. We lived within 20 minutes of 4 different beaches and still I couldn't get a tan! Charleston is rich with culture and full of history. Plus, now I can say I lived in the dirty south. That's something, right? :)

Rhett was born in November of 2007 and Graham joined our family in May of 2009. We are so lucky to have such handsome boys who keep us on our toes.

In November of 2009, while visiting my family in Arizona, my husband received a job offer out of the blue. We were happy in SC, but jumped at the chance to be closer to family. We now call Arizona home. We sure miss the east coast and the ocean, but the desert has been good to us so far. I work part time at the maximum security jail in downtown Phoenix taking x-rays of the inmates (usually after racial riots and fights, but occasionally they actually get sick too. :) ). Sounds crazy, but I'll never work at a hospital again! I love my job and all the interesting stories that come with it.

Anybody try to get a decent family picture with kids? This is about the best we've got! It's been great to see what people are up to. Hopefully we make it in August to do some more catching up.

I remember like it was yesterday

On May 24,2000, we were all together in the gym for the last time. Getting our diplomas was a great accomplishment, we all had together. It was hard for some of us, but it was harder to say goodbye to a world we knew. I moved away to Twin and lived there from 2003 to 2009 while I was there I was in a program called SL Start which taught me to lived independently. Then in 2009, I moved back to Burley. In the 10 years I have been out of school I have lost 3 loved ones in my family and I have also gained one, I am now dating a sweet gal named Maria. Looking forward to seeing my classmates.

Can’t believe it has been 10 yrs. already.

Hmm, where to start. Well, after graduation, I started college at the College of Southern Idaho and never really left. My life has had its ups and downs, but I take it all one day at a time. In the early summer of 2001, my grandma flew me to Salem, Ohio to stay with her for a week and took me to Amish country and to Niagara Falls, Canada while I was there. That was my first time being out of the U.S. It was beautiful back there and would really like to go back sometime soon. Shortly after I got back, I went back to CSI and finished up my Associates in Liberal Arts then went and got an Associate’s degree in Para education. After that, I tried and tried looking for a para education job, but I didn’t have enough experience for any of them. While still trying to find a job with the schools, I started working for A+ Solutions working with kids who have developmental delays and behavioral problems. After about 1yr. of that, I finally settled for a Substitute teaching job with the Cassia County School District. After I started substitute teaching, I started to kind of enjoy teaching so back to CSI I went. This time I decided to teach Secondary Education History, since I love history, and it only took me a couple of semesters to finish up with an Associate’s degree in that. However, as it turns out my U.S. History instructor, who graduated from Minico, had it in for us Burley students. I survived his class with a little extra knowledge of what I was getting myself into. As it turns out the schools in our area won’t hire female History teachers unless they can coach or teach another subject on the side. I don’t do both, so after another year of substitute teaching, I decided it was best for me to get out of the teaching business and pursue something in an area that I love doing. Last June I finally made my decision and followed my heart into the Culinary Arts program at CSI. I do love to cook and learn to cook all different kinds of food. Then just before school started, I got a phone call from Mike Johnson my advisor/instructor asking me if I would like to join the new Baking and Pastries program to make room for all of the BSU and ISU culinary students since they closed down their programs. I said sure, why not, I am up for anything. However, all of those BSU and ISU students that were supposed to be coming, we only received 1 from each school and the student from ISU happened to be a 2nd yr. Culinary/Baking and Pastries student. So that is how I got into the Baking and Pastries program. I will soon have a Technical Certificate in Baking and Pastries come Aug(when it comes in the mail). I can now make anything from Quiche Lorraine to Poached Pears in Merlot to Vegan Tapioca Pudding.

Yes, I really did help make what is on this table from scratch.

My buddy calls this “his heaven” This is called Chocolate Banana Island

I can even make some bread like Baguette, Fougasse, and my favorite Croissants.

In the fall I will be going back to school and this time it will be in the culinary class. I will be learning to make things from Stuffed Pork Tenderloin with Heir Covert and fingerling potatoes to Orange and Soy Glazed Chicken with Shitake Mushroom stuffing accompanied by Jasmine rice and braised baby bok choy to Vegan Sheppard’s Pie. Along with many other wonderful recipes I got to try out this past year. I am also hoping to move to Twin Falls to be closer to school and friends along with a job in the restaurant business. While doing all of this, I was also voted in as Secretary of my Hospitality Management Association (HOSTUER’S) Club.

We are missing quite a few from this picture.

Our club hosts an Italian Buffet in the fall and provides wonderful food for the Harvest Fest held in early November. We do a couple of other events also. With all of the money we bring in and hours we volunteer, we put it all together and go on culinary trips. In March of this year for Spring Break, 25 of us hopped on one of CSI’s buses at 6:00 a.m. on March 11 and headed for Portland, OR. Where we stayed in Downtown at a very nice hotel until March 15 then headed for Bend where we stayed the night and came home the next day. Next spring our trip will be to Vegas then at the end of my 1st yr. some of us that have enough money and want to will head to Spain for a couple of weeks, hopefully. If you want you can check out my blog, but I warn you that I don’t update it much. Plus, it might be boring to some of you, who knows.

10 Years…. Already?
After BHS, I went to Western Wyoming Community College to pursue theatre and dance. However, I decided it was not for me, so I moved back to Burley to attend CSI. I graduated in May 2003 with an Associate degree in Liberal Arts. In January of 2004, I married a long time friend and BHS classmate, Curtis Warren in the Manti, Utah temple.
The real adventure began in August 2005, when we loaded up a U-Haul and drove 3,000 miles to Anchorage, Alaska. Curtis landed a job with amazing benefits at Alaska Airlines, so we were able to travel around the state.

While in Alaska, I have taught dance, group fitness, taken college classes, taken up snowshoeing, canoeing and other outside activities to enjoy the “ Land of the Midnight Sun”… I have also worked at the University of Alaska Anchorage as an administrative assistant for the past four years.

In October 2007, our little angel Cyrus Curtis Warren joined our family. He is such a blessing, I truly wonder how I survived without him around! We are expecting another little bundle of joy in September 2010.

I recently decided to stay home with my little man, so currently I am transitioning into being a stay at home mom. Some days I miss the meetings, deadlines and business world, but I am truly enjoying going to the park, reading books and hanging out with Cyrus!

Curtis is set to graduate with a Bachelor in Accounting in December 2010. From that point, who knows what the Warren family will do!

After high school I thought the world was my oyster...then I realized I didn't like shellfish! I spent 2 years in West Virginia as a missionary where I gained an appreciation for community service and decided I wanted to work with people. After returning home I enrolled at CSI and got an associates degree in Communications. I was also on the debate team and worked as a free lance reporter for the now defunct S.I.P. By this time CSI had a center in Burley and I found it ironic that I was attending college in the same building where I went to high school. During this time I got a "temporary" job at D.L. Evans Bank as a courier. I didn't plan on being a banker, I didn't even plan on living in Burley, but a friend told me "Burley needs good people too." I have kind of accepted that as my mantra. The Bank saw I was pretty good with computers and quickly moved me to book-keeping. I held several other positions before being accepted into a management internship. I have been making business and farm loans for the last few years and boy what an interesting time to be in banking! I just recently finished a bachelor's degree from ISU in Corporate Training. The best things that happened to me since high school were marrying my wife and having kids. My wife Danielle is from Utah and we met for the first time at Lagoon. She was moving to Idaho to go to school and we kept in touch after she moved up here. I have been in several of the productions out in Oakley and at the time we were dating I was in Guys and Dolls. Before one of the shows, I called her up on stage and proposed. She of course couldn't resist my charm and said yes. However when she was walking back to her seat she was wiping off my stage lipstick! I never thought that when I proposed to my wife I would be wearing more makeup than she was. We have 2 boys: a 3-year old named Michael Anthony and our little outlaw a 10-month old named Jesse James. We still live in Burley and I still enjoy being involved in the community. I am president-elect of the Kiwanis Club, Chairman of the Heyburn Amphitheater Committee, and work with the Chamber of Commerce, Red Cross, Boy Scouts, and American Cancer Society. For our most recent escapades check out my wife's blog at http://stickyfacesandfunplaces.blogspot.com/

After leaving the halls of Burley High School and my secret crush on Mrs. Doman behind, I left for Oregon to run track. This surely was the best year of my college life, and my grades will attest to that. A brief vacation from school was in order and at the age of 20 I proceeded to kick it Argentine style for a couple years. Upon my return to the states I decided to leave track and field behind. I moved to Pocatello and started school at ISU. My intention was to stay a semester and move on to bigger better things. Well, after 3 1/2 years I graduated with a bachelors in Microbiology and minor in Chemistry. A micro degree destined me to a life of research and no friends, so I bagged the bug thing and headed off to medical school at the University of Washington in Seattle. After a miserable time in Seattle (worst town on planet earth) I moved back to Boise to finish my clinical years of medical school. I am now a 4th year student and will be pursuing a career in Neonatology when all is said and done. Seven years of post-high school education, and a miserable 7 more to go. Amidst all of this I met my dear wife Stephanie in 2004. We welcomed our son Brock into our family on July 4th, 2007. Earlier this year I slipped another one past the goalie and now anxiously await the birth of my daughter.

Stephanie Betts

What have I been doing for the last ten years?

..... Let's go back to the beginning. After graduation, I headed out for the University of Idaho. I went through rush and spent my first year living in the Kappa Delta sorority. What an incredible way to meet 75 girlfriends. I decided that Moscow was not the town for me and transferred to Boise State University. Best choice I could have made. After starting as a Biology major, I then went to Accounting, and finally to Business Management. I graduated with my Business degree in December of 2006.
During the journey at BSU, I met my boyfriend in a psychology class. Carter is from Hailey, Idaho and we have been together for 5 1/2 years now. We currently live in the Wood River Valley and will probably be here for the foreseeable future. He is in the process of taking over the family business and I am working as a nanny/personal assistant. I work for a family with 5 kids! They keep me busy, young, and totally insane. It is so much fun and such a great learning process to be such a big part of their lives.

We bought a home and live together with our "kids". Ammo, our yellow lab, and Kodiak, our Newfoundland. Home projects and adventures with our girls are keeping us very busy. I'm slowly seeing myself turning from the city girl into the mountain girl. Isn't camouflage one of the primary colors?
I don't make it back to Burley very often, and keep in touch with very few classmates, so I am very excited for this reunion!

Emily Walton

Hmmm....where to start!??!!

I headed to Edmonton, Alberta Canada to Taylor University College after high school. I met my husband at college and the two of us crazy kids got married in 2002 right in the middle of our college experience. We spent our summers in Burley and the rest of the time in snowy Edmonton where we enjoyed living in a different country and culture.

Our son Caleb was born on March 17, 2004. I graduated with a Bachelor of Psychology and Shane with a Bachelor of History. We moved back to Shane's hometown of Gig Harbor, Washington (close to Seattle). Our daughter Kate was born on January 30, 2006. I have been a busy mom pretty much ever since!
Shane is working for Chinook Properties, a contracting company that works on the naval bases around the Puget Sound. I have been working part time at Starbucks to get out of the house and have some grown up time! Over the last two years we decided to put Shane's handyman skills to work and build our own home. What a lot of work that was! But it was worth it and we are happy to say we survived and love our new home, and continue to work on the huge task of landscaping 2 acres!
We are expecting our 3rd baby in October and Caleb (6) and Kate (4) are super excited to have a little one around the house!
I am looking forward to catching up with everyone in August!

I was a bobcat, and I did graduate in 2000, so I guess I can participate. Plus, someone keeps sending me these emails!
Up until the last few months, the last ten years were a blur to me. I am trying to get into law enforcment, so was forced to recall the last ten years for background purposes. BOY did I have to reach! So much has happened since then.

I have had and lost girlfreinds, cars, homes, dogs, and other objects.
I have gained a beautiful wife, and two amazing children (a third by the time you read this).
Here is the order:

1-Mission to St. Louis
2-Play in St. George, Ut.
3-School (play) in Poky at I.S.U. (lived with Brock Olsen)
4-Sales in Sacremento (met Cassi Engbretson now Cassi Rose)
5-School/Construction/Subway/
Custodian at BHS/Surveyor/Construction in Burley-Oh, and had Haylie Dean Rose!
6-Move to Eastern Washington (Tri-Cities) and still doing land surveying! Oh, and had Connor Joseph Rose! And Lila Lynn...

Here's some pictures.
